Although litigation against companies in bankruptcy is normally stayed, the plaintiffs in a suit involving the sale of a Bushmaster to a straw purchaser by Gander that was later used to kill and injure a number of firemen are asking to court to let their suit against Gander proceed because they claim they are not seeking payment from Gander’s bankruptcy estate.
