Patagonia Won’t Return to Outdoor Retailer in Utah
Backing up its promise to exit Utah if it tried to undo President Obama’s designation of Bears Ears as a national monument, Patagonia said it would not return to the show when UT governor Gary Herbert signed a resolution asking the Trump Administration to rescind the designation. Patagonia added that it was confident that other major manufacturers and retailers would follow it out of Utah, which is one way to solve the hotel situation in Salt Lake City though probably not what the convention bureau had in mind.
