The former National Sporting Goods Association director, who founded Memphis, TN-based All American, Inc. and worked in the industry for more than 60 years, died Aug. 23 in Tennessee. He was 91. All American continues to be one of the most reputable team dealers in the U.S. under the direction of Horner’s sons and co-owners, Eddie, Ronnie and Tom. He was a member of the NSGA board from 1991 to 1994, later elected to the Sporting Goods Industry Hall of Fame in 2000.
