Nike Share in Key Retailers Stable in 2016
Foot Locker’s recently released 10-K reveals that the Eager Beavertons still represent 68% of total sales, down from 72% the year before and a recent high of 73% the prior year. That would translate to sales of $5,281 million in 2016 compared to $5,337 million prior, a drop of 1%. Some of that business obviously went to Adidas, Puma and Under Armour, but there also appears to have been some consolidation of vendors as Big Foot’s top five suppliers accounted for 91% of sales in 2016 compared to 89% the prior year.
