Nike Online Sales Soar over Labor Day


Largely quieting any fears of a massive consumer backlash caused by its Colin Kaepernick commercial, Edison Trends said the Eager Beavertons’ sales after Labor Day grew 31% from Sunday through Tuesday over Labor Day, accelerating from the 17% gain of last year. Social media researchers also pronounced the boycott a bust, noting that, as we said last week, a more or less equal number seemed to post comments pro and con, cancelling each other out, and the impact was far less than the campaign that hit Starbucks, which had no appreciable impact on the coffee retailer.
