Louisville Re-evaluating Adidas Deal in Wake of Scandal
An emergency meeting of the university’s trustees with interim president Greg Postel indicated that Louisville was not completely committed to going through with the new $160 million contract whose term was to begin in 2018 and run for 10 years. But there are also indications that athletic director Tom Jurich has been gathering significant support from major donors, even as basketball coach Rick Pitino has been fired.
