Interior Secretary Recommends Scaling Back Bear’s Ears
The decision, which had been foreshadowed by the Trump Administration for months, will scale back the 1.3-million-acre preserve designated by President Obama before he left office. Under Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke’s proposal, the borders would shrink to cover just areas with archaeological sites and areas of significance to Native Americans.
