Comprehensive net income jumped to ¥746 million ($6.6 million) from ¥171 million last year in the fiscal third quarter ended May 31, on flat revenues of ¥19,844 million ($174.5 million) vs. ¥19,755 million. The golf market in Japan is extremely competitive right now, with sales declining slightly despite efforts to strengthen the product lineup, especially in apparel and accessories.
