Foot Locker Grows Apparel, but Comps Down in U.S.
The bottom line dropped 34% in the first quarter to $133 million from $202 million, on sales that inched up 1% to $2,175 million from $2,153 million, helped by the addition of WSS and Atmos. Comps declined 1.9% overall, dropping high-singles in Mar. and Apr. after a positive start, but varied widely by banner and region.
