Easton-Bell Sports Unveils New Pitching Helmet Prototype
The prototype, which uses lightweight, energy managing materials to provide protection to the most vulnerable areas of the head, is made of expanded polystyrene polycarbonate that is attached to a liner and elastic strap. The prototype protective gear, developed in Easton’s helmet technology center that opened last year in Scotts Valley, CA, will be wear tested this baseball season by Gunnar Sandberg.
