Dick’s Lowers Outlook on More Competitive Market in Short Term


Citing the pending GOB sales of Gander Mountain and a thinly veiled reference to Under Armour’s opening of Kohl’s, Dick’s lowered its comp sales guidance for the FY to a 1-3% increase from earlier guidance of a 2-3% increase as it reported net income of $58,195,000, up 3% from $56,877,000 for the 13 weeks ended Apr. 29 on a 10% increase in revenue to $1,825,252,000 from $1,660,343,000.
