The Japanese premium apparel brand has established Descente Athletic Americas (DAA), its new U.S. subsidiary located in Atlanta, GA, as the beachhead for an aggressive expansion strategy here. A new, much broader performance apparel line for the U.S. market launches later this year “representing the intersection of luxury, athleisure and technical gear” and includes the brand’s signature Allterrain line. This new lifestyle assortment, targeted to an aspirational urban customer, is available through Descente’s e-commerce site this fall, and DAA is working now on wholesale distribution through high-end boutiques and independent stores.
