An open letter from several top outdoor industry executives was recently circulated, warning Emerald Expositions that it had better not stray from its initial decision to co-locate the Outdoor Retailer show and the SIA Show in Denver. The concern is that, in an effort to “maximize shareholder value,” as public companies like to call it, Emerald will look for a bigger site like Las Vegas or one of several other cities that are bidding to host the event in the future.
