Deckers Sees Weather Help Uggs, Margins Drive Profits


Net income was $29,702,000 in fiscal Q4 ended Mar. 31 against a loss of $11,994,000 last year in a relatively small quarter seasonally that had revenues of $400,684,000, up 8% from $369,465,000 in the prior year. Direct-to-consumer drove the sales gains, increasing 18% to $177.6 million with a +15% comp sales increase including brick-and-mortar and digital. Wholesale sales inched up 2% to $223.1 million. The U.S. market accounted for $249.0 million, up 8% in the quarter, while international gained 9% to $151.7 million.
