Columbia Results Improve Despite Warm Fall


Net income was $63,350,000, up 14% from $55,603,000 for the final three months ended Dec. 31 as sales improved 3% to $699,414,000 from $676,964,000. Strong U.S. growth was the main driver, with domestic sales up 10% to $446.2 million from $404.6 million, while in reported currency Latin America/Asia Pacific sales were down 4% to $149.7 million vs. $155.2 million, EMEA sales fell 15% to $58.2 million from $68.3 million and Canadian sales fell 7% to $45.3 million from $48.9 million.
