The giant bank, which ended up with the Cabela’s credit card operation as part of the transaction that merged Cabela’s into Bass Pro, filed a notice with the state that it would terminate 153 of the 450 employees at the Lincoln credit card processing center. The layoffs are expected to hit personnel in back office functions such as loss prevention, while leaving the personnel with direct customer contact in place.
