Boardriders’ acquisition of Billabong closes tomorrow, and the Oaktree Capital-owned parent detailed management roles and responsibilities in the merged entity. Boardriders global president Greg Healey, who joined the company from Quiksilver, will also be president of APAC. Shannan North will continue as global president of Billabong under the new owners, and also be in charge of retail strategy. Both Healey and North will have “board of directors responsibilities,” but presumably not actual seats according to the company release.
