American Outdoor Brands Adds Bubba Blade


Making its second accessories acquisition recently, the parent of Smith & Wesson will acquires the assets of Fish Tales, makers of the Bubba Blade. It will become part of the Battenfield Technologies accessories unit and complement last year’s acquisition of Taylor Brands which makes knives and specialty tools under several brand names. Terms of the deal weren’t disclosed but AOBC said it would utilize cash on hand to complete the deal this summer and then transition the business to its new facility in Columbia, MO.
