In 2021, the e-commerce giant identified, seized and disposed of more than 3 million counterfeit products, according to its second Amazon Brand Protection Report, up from around 2 million in 2020. In addition, Amazon stopped more than 2.5 million attempts to create new selling accounts by bad actors in 2021, down from over 6 million attempts in 2020.
