Adidas Will Exceed Forecast in 2015, Ups 2016 Forecast
Signaling that the last year of Herbert Hainer’s tenure will be a successful one, Adidas said net income will rise 12% for 2015 to €720 million ($811.4 mm) from €642 million last year as reported sales jumped 16% to €16.9 billion ($19.0 bb) from €14.5 billion the prior year. Currency neutral, sales were up 10%, led by 12% growth at the Adidas brand and 6% growth at Reebok. The top line was the result of strong sales in Western Europe, China, Latin America and MEAA regions.
