Adidas Targets €5 Billion in North American Sales by 2020
That is an increase of 50% from the €3.41 billion that the Group achieved in 2016, which was composed of €2,897 million from the Adidas brand and €514 million from Reebok. Growth at Reebok is anticipated, but it will not play a major role as the focus there is on increasing profitability, which suggests the Adidas brand will have to make up the vast majority of the €1.6 billion in growth implied in the target. The targets do not include the €719 million in sales from TaylorMade and CCM in North America, both of which are up for sale.
