Adidas Net Climbs on Strength in North America, China and E-Commerce
Net income soared 151% to €396 million ($472 mm) from €158 million for the second quarter ended Jun. 30 as sales rose 4% to €5,261 million ($6,271 mm) from €5,038 million that would have been up 10% currency neutral. This year’s results included a €21 million loss from discontinued operations compared to a €189 million charge last year.
