Adidas is suing Nike in TX federal court accusing the Eager Beavertons of infringing on nine patents related to the Big a’s smart technology in apps, footwear, apparel and equipment. The patents in question relate to self-lacing technology, location-based run tracking, performance feedback, and training programs through a variety of NKE’s running apps, and a sneaker reservation program system.
