TULTEX HAS Q4 LOSS.
The net loss of $13,765,000 compared to a net loss of $8,472,000 for the fourth quarter ended Jan. 2. Sales fell 42 per cent to $99,628,000 from $172,725,000. The company was about $10 million below forecasts because of the weather and industry consitions. The balance of the decline related to the sale of the Logo Athletic assets in July. The pro forma net loss would have been $12.9 million excluding the write-off of Logo receivables.
