THE SPORTS AUTHORITY CUTS STAKE IN JAPAN JOINT VENTURE.

The move, suggested by the retailer several weeks ago and reported here last week, will make TSA a minority partner in its Japanese joint venture with JUSCO Co., Ltd. Terms will see TSA reduce its ownership in Mega Sports Co., the four-year old parent of 13 Japanese TSA units, from 51 per cent to 19 per cent.
