SRR is buying the 12-year old maker of high-end,soft-soled leather footwear for babies and young children. The $27.5 milliontransaction for British Columbia, Canada-based Robeez will be financed withcash and Stride Rite’s existing credit facilities. Robeez founder Sandra Wilsonwill remain with Stride Rite as a consultant after the transaction closes andoffer design and brand vision input.
