SMITH & WESSON net income rose 49%


SMITH& WESSON net income rose 49% to $13.0 million from $8.7million for the 12 months ended Apr. 30 as total sales expanded 49% to $234.8million from $157.9 million. Annual firearm sales jumped 50% or $73.9 million.All product categories experienced higher sales during the year due toincreased focus in consumer markets.
