SALOMON, ROSSIGNOL SALES ARE MIXED.


Salomon had a 3.2 per cent decline in net profitsto FFr 143 million ($25 mm) on a 10 per cent increase in revenuesto FFr 2,225 million ($386 mm) for the first half ended Sept.30. Taylor Made sales were flat in $US but grew 12 percent in local currency to FFr 1,159 million ($201.0 mm).
