Boosted by the stellar turnaround at Taylor Made,Salomon had income of FFr 380 million ($74.5 mm) for the FY endedMar. 31, 1996 against income of FFr 161 million. As reported,revenues rose 5 per cent to FFr 4,006 million ($785.5 mm) fromFFr 3,810 million. So, while the p.r. dispute with Rossignolrages about who is the largest winter sports vendor in the world,the results at the bottom line are clear with Rossignol expectingflat earnings against last year's FFr 97 million ($19.0 mm).
