REEBOK HAS NO SURPRISES IN SECOND QUARTER.


Lackluster results disclosed a backlog that was up3.6 per cent as of June 30, including an international backlogthat rose 11.5 per cent (16.5 per cent in constant dollars) anda domestic Reebok brand backlog that was off less than 1 per cent.However, this backlog was comprised of a 15 per cent decline insneaker orders against a 115 per cent rise in apparel orders.Ex-Numero Uno has generally been unable to fill all its apparelorders, so the sales will need a boost from the retail divisionto stay even.
