The Menomonee Falls, WI value-priced retailer, whosestore count has grown 76% since FY97 to 320 doors as of Oct. 28, intends toacquire 12 former Bradlees locations in the Boston market and three more in NJ.Financial terms of the deal, a joint agreement with Home Depot and Wal-Mart for35 former Bradlees, weren’t disclosed. The transaction is subject to severalconditions, including approval by the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the SouthernDistrict of New York.
