INDONESIAN FOOTWEAR EXPORTS FORECAST TO JUMP 20% IN Q1.


Citing increased demand from major athletic brands andhigher orders of casual shoes for non-traditional markets such as EasternEurope and the Middle East, Indonesia is forecasting a 20% rise in Q1 footwearand leather product exports to $511.6 million. For all of 2010, the IndonesianFootwear Association (Aprisindo) is predicting 15.6% growth in exports toapproximately $2.0 billion from $1.73 billion in 2009.
