Family-owned Modell’s, the largest full-line SGretailer in the U.S. with a huge presence in the Northeast corridor, is thelatest retailer to sign on with GSPT. Modell’s has been operating an e-commercebusiness through a combination of internal resources and third-partyrelationships. Global will develop and launch the new e-commerce store atwww.models.com before Holiday. The agreement marks the seventh SG retailer thisCY to switch to Global Sports’ end-to-end e-commerce solution. Earlier thisyear, GSPT struck similar e-commerce partnerships with Gart Sports and Dick’sSG.
