FORZANI WILL CONVERT 57 DOORS TO INTERSPORT BANNER.

The decision, which involves Podium Sports and Sports Experts units in Ontario, British Columbia and the Atlantic provinces, is part of a 20-year exclusive agreement the Canadian operator has to develop the Intersport private label in Canada and the U.S. Intersport’s previous agreement in the U.S. with Sports Inc. has ended.

For the immediate future, anyway, the U.S. strategy will likely focus on selling Intersport’s array of private label goods to American dealers and not on developing a brick and mortar presence south of the border. But ... Log in to view full article.
