Regardless of who occupies the White House, industryanalysts see only minimal impact on the sporting goods industry, and there areonly a few key Congressional races that will matter. On balance, that’sprobably a positive, since the industry has been making headway in Washingtonwith the PEP bill and recreation funding.
As far as the key industry issues go, President GeorgeBush and Senator John Kerry are roughly equal.
