BRUNSWICK NET INCOME ROSE 61% IN Q3.


The company had earnings of $37.9 million against$23.6 million for the period ended Sep. 30. Total revenues rose 15% to $1,036.3million from $900 million with more than half of the gain attributed to recentpurchases of Land ‘N’ Sea and Navman NZ Ltd. As for segmentresults, Fitness had a 10% drop in operating earnings to $8.7 million on a 3%sales decline to $105.1 million. Group operating margins were off 60 basispoints at 8.3%.
