Sales climbed 14% to ¥108.74 billion ($983.1 mm), andnet profit increased 18% to ¥8.29 billion ($75.0 mm) for H1 ended Sep. 30.Footwear revenues rose 20% to ¥80.88 billion with increased sales in both theU.S. and Europe. Apparel sales dropped 3% to ¥19.25 billion, largely due to aslowdown in Europe. Driven by increases in baseball in Japan, equipment saleswere up 9% to ¥8.60 billion.
