AMER SPORTS CONSOLIDATES BY COMBINING FOUR UNITS.


The Finnish company re-organizes and creates a Winter& Outdoor unit by combining the Salomon, Atomic, Mavic, Arc’teryx andBonfire businesses. Kari Kauniskangas, currently SVP of sales and distribution,will head the new division. Jean Luc-Diard and Michael Schineis, the presidentsof Salomon and Atomic, respectively, will report to him. The change takeseffect Sept. 1 and does not affect Suunto, Wilson or Precor, which willcontinue to operate as distinct units.
