Smaller declines posted by the brand in the U.S. in Q3sparked optimism that continued betterment might carry forward to H1 01. U.S.unit sales fell 10 per cent in Q3, up from a 30 per cent decline in Q2, asdomestic backlog improved slightly on a currency neutral basis (-7% footwear,-26% apparel) but remained negative.
