ADIDAS AMERICA SALES RISE IN 2002.


The 4% rise (10% in constant euros) was the first for Adidas America in four years, indicating the much-hyped turnaround for the market has been achieved. As reported in Jan., group sales increased 7%, or 11% in constant euros, to €6.52 billion (US$7.10 billion) in 2002. Net income rose10% to €229 million ($249.2 mm).
